A sore throat during my stay in Calgary last week turned into a full-blown sinus cold/flu that kept me in bed for 15 hours straight last Friday. I slept so much this weekend that my back was sore when I awoke for lunch. Green snot and coughing aside, this weekend was spent leisurely enjoying movies, yummy food, and a little bit of shopping.

D and I stopped in Kingsway over the weekend. I'm still not impressed with the decorations and am, in fact, even more annoyed at the Santa sitting on that darned loveseat. Although there's a significant amount of snow on the ground, I'm still not as into the Christmas spirit as others are. Some people have already finished their shopping, sent out their cards, or even decorated the house etc. Gah! Maybe I'll get around to the cards this week, but who knows...
