Pink skin, pink salmon, pink petals

Joni devised a great weekend and gathered the girls together for a nice, relaxing time.

After a wonderful soak at the onsen, we proceeded to fill ourselves of delicious hyaku-en sushi. I will never tire of salmon...

Then it was off to Joni's where we watched a movie and promptly fell asleep afterwards. Everyone was pretty mellow and tired.

The next day we betook ourselves to Kyoto to take in the sakura blossoms...It was gorgeous weather (some of us got sunburnt) and the blossoms were so lush, fragrant, and beautiful.

We arrived back in time (well, not really.... ;) to help celebrate Kanchan's birthday and to devour the yummy Mexican food he'd cooked up.
