Happy Chinese New Year.
I called my parents this morning and wished so badly that I could be there to celebrate this holiday with them.
Big Chinese dinner, visiting and spending time with family on both sides, red pocket money, and wearing red...
Instead I'm defrosting chicken in the microwave and planning a trip to the laundromat to dry my damp damp jeans which never seem to dry fast enough in this apartment.
Tomorrow I will call both of my grandmothers to wish them a happy new year as well.
And then my other dad.
