I finished this book today.
Heart-wrenching, vivid, horrible and terrifying.... I just can't seem to shake off this feeling of utter sadness.
The boy, his father, the thief on the road...
The baby.
I am so sad at this moment. I haven't been affected so much by a book recently. And it is written so simply and beautifully.
The film adaptation will be released in November 2008. I hope they have done a good job with it.

I read the book too and I felt the exact same way after. From time to time I keep thinking about it. I just can't seem to get it out of my head!
